History of Blancpain Watch
As a luxury brand Blancpain enjoys considerable popularity, the Swiss watchmaker Blancpain was founded in 1735 by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain. This House boasts a famous and oft-repeated slogan: “Since 1735, there has never been a quartz Blancpain watch. And there never will be.”
Blancpain has always been interested in holorological expertise and innovation. Technical firsts have included the smallest minute repeater wristwatch, the world’s slimmest chronograph and the first self-winding tourbillon watch with one-week power reserve.
